Crew's Inbox- His Ex Is Going To His GMA's Funeral!

Crew,
My boyfriend’s Grandma just passed away a few days ago and his family is devastated. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about 4 months. Knowing that this is gonna be a hard time for his family, I took off work and planned to be with him. Then last night he drops a bomb on me. He said that he doesn’t know if I should come because his ex, who he dated right before me, is going to be there. He doesn’t want any problems at his Grandma’s funeral. He dated her for about 4 years and she was really close to his family and still is. So I get why she is going but why does that mean I can’t go? Does that mean he thinks I’m gonna start drama? I wonder if his family knows what he’s doing. I don’t want to be on bad terms with his family cuz I didn’t support them.
What do I do? I am his current girlfriend I have every right to be there!
