It may sound strange, but a new survey says that a majority of Australians are in favor of including "To be faithful including no flirtatious following or friending" in their vows at the altar.
According to a press release obtained by HuffPost Weddings, Australian life insurance company InsuranceLine surveyed 1,200 Australians and asked them to choose the 10 "most relevant" vows from a list that included both traditional and modern vows.
While traditional vows like "sickness and health," "better or worse" and "richer or poorer" ranked in the top four choices for both men and women, more obscure vows also crept into the mix.
1. "Til Death Do Us Part"
One of the most traditional marriage vows, "til death do us part," did make the top ten for both men and women, but it took a back seat to other vows -- coming in tenth place for women and eighth place for men. Just a little more than half -- 66 percent -- of people said they would include "til death" in their vows.
2. Financial Support
Whether or not to join your bank accounts when you marry is a big decision, but 45 percent of those surveyed said that spouses should commit to financially supporting their partner if one becomes unable to work.
3. Online Flirting And Friending
Many couples favored including "to be faithful including no flirtatious following or friending” in their vows, ranking ninth among women and tenth for men. Just over 70 percent of women and more than 60 percent of men said they support including this digital faithfulness vow.
4. "Submit" And "Obey"
Just 14 percent of women and 21 percent of men would vow to "submit" to their spouse, and only 18 percent of women and 27 percent of men would vow to "obey."
5. Equal Parenting
Men and women want to share parenting responsibilities. "To share child rearing equally" ranked eighth among women and ninth among men.
6. Keeping Up Appearances
Twenty-three percent of respondents said spouses should be committed to keeping up their looks while married.
I had a feeling my boyfriend was gonna ask me to move in with him, and sure enough he did a couple of weeks ago. His parents got divorced when he was in high school, so I think he wants to live together before he proposes, because he’s scared, but he’ll never admit that! My boyfriend and I are doing a long distance relationship thing…for now. He’s training for a higher position at his job and he had to relocate to Chicago for a year. It’s been tough on us especially cuz we were only dating for about six months before he left. With nearly seven in 10 Americans planning to celebrate Halloween, Oct. 31 is one of the fastest growing holidays of the year. And for good reason, it is a chance to break away from day-to-day routines to let loose and have some fun.
A National Retail Federation survey said Americans will spend $8 billion on Halloween this year, and a good chunk of that will be spent on costumes.
Don't be fooled: Halloween isn't just for kids. In fact, more money is expected to be spent on adult costumes this year than on costumes for children.
The trade group estimates there will 6 million adults dressing as a witch, and 3.2 million dressing as a vampire. Trailing those costume choices are the traditional fare: pirates, super heroes, and zombies. Yet costume retailers also see some other trends creeping into Halloween fare this year.
Among them is a growing preference for humorous costumes. Some of these are based on popular television shows or newsworthy public figures.
"Choosing a costume is one of the most entertaining parts of Halloween," said NRF President and CEO Matthew Shay. So choose wisely.

1. Ted

Movies often are a source of Halloween inspiration, and this year is no different. Seth MacFarlane's movie, "Ted," has inspired a few costume ideas. Spirit Halloween is rushing a Ted bear costume into the store, but in order to complete the look you may want to add on a few accessories to make it more recognizable. One example is the cashier apron, or the business suit that Ted wore in the movie.
2. Super Skins with Accessories

Skin suits have become a popular Halloween staple, but this year update the look by adding funny accessories to make a new character.
Several retailers are saying that they are seeing a rise in sales of Halloween costume accessories. One reason is that consumers are using accessories to customize their look, sometimes morphing together two classic Halloween costumes to make a unique new version. For example, taking a bridal costume and turning it into a zombie.
The skin suits form an excellent base for this concept. Pictured here is a skin suit combined with clown accessories, but other ideas include a basketball player, a super hero, and a rocker girl.
The NRF expects to see a lot more athlete-themed costumes, possibly a nod to this summer's Olympics.
3. Honey Boo Boo and June

The self-proclaimed redneck reality TV stars of TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" are inspiring a lot of costume ideas this year.
Costume retailers expect Halloween party-goers to dress as child pageant star Alana "Honey Boo Boo" Thompson and her mother June Shannon. The rest of the family may be fair game as well. Even Alana's brief pet, Glitzy the pig, is not off limits.
Although there are no official "Honey Boo Boo" costumes, Halloween costume shops are sure to have the right accessories to pull off the look. Pictured here is a kid pageant dress costume.
4. Gangnam StyleGangnam Style

With its catchy rhythm and its humorous video, not to mention Korean musician PSY's crazy dance moves, Gangnam style has taken the world by storm. As of late September, the music video had been viewed more than 292 million times.
Since the video has inspired numerous parodies - including one from the North Korean government - and "Gangnam Style" flash mobs, no doubt there will be Halloween party-goers dressing "Gangnam Style."
5. Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele - 50 Shades of Grey Suggested Price: Varies
The desire to dress like a police office may be why handcuff sales are up at costume shops. Still, there could be another - decidedly different -reason why sales for that particular accessory are on the rise.
With the huge popularity of the "50 Shades of Grey" series, more than a few people may be looking to create their own versions of the characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Some interpretations could be rather tame, such as taking 50 shades of grey fabric and stitching them together into some form or another. But it's more likely an aspiring Mr. Grey will dress in a suit with a tie; a want-to-be Anastasia has a longer list of options. So many, in fact, that Pinterest has a page of ideas of what would be in Ana's closet.
5. Pirate Shaper

Forget the flimsy costumes: this year, consumers are looking for higher-quality fabrics, well-sewn seams, and embellishments.
"They want a lot more bells and whistles and a more finished look," said Cheryl Kerzner, vice president of design and marketing at Jakks Pacific's Disguise unit.
It's especially true for the more revealing women's costumes. Many now are made with Shapewear. This, for example, is a pirate, which ranked as the third most popular choice for adult costumes this year.
6. Presidential Masks

With the election looming, more than 767,000 Halloween party-goers are expected to wear some sort of political costume, according to NRF’s survey, conducted by the firm BIGinsight.
This means President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney will be going head-to-head at the costume shop, as well as at the polls. Some costume retailers suggest that mask purchases may even predict the outcome of the election.
Of course, not everyone uses their costume choice to express their political leanings. Some will just aim for a good laugh. So don’t be surprised if you see “Romney” at a Halloween party with “Snooki” from “Jersey Shore” at his side. But according to a new study by Badoo, it turns out that American guys tend to maintain their bromance until an average age of 44, as opposed to British guys, for whom close man-love tapers off at age 35. Of our men in the U.S.A., almost half of these bromantic guys are single (41 percent), and a disconcerting ton of them say that their Man Love has caused problems in past relationships (60 percent).
Also, 16 percent of wives and girlfriends admit some jealousy when it comes to their guy's bromance.
Weird as it may seem, there are people out there who would rather wear an uncomfortable diaper all day long than go to the bathroom. Japanese media reports adult diapers are increasingly popular among Japanese women who say wearing them saves them a lot of time.
In an article titled “The Ultimate Form of Slob“, Japanese magazine SPA describes the hottest trend in the Land of the Rising Sun. No, it’s not the brainwave-operated tail for humans, that’s still just a prototype, but something way more disturbing. The masculinization of women has become a very popular topic in Japan, as statistics say more and more females don’t clean their rooms as often as they used to, leave their underwear all over the place and don’t even bother to remove unwanted bodily hair, but one magazine seems to have identified the ultimate slobs – women who wear diapers to avoid using the toilet. They even interviewed one such girl, 25-year-old Kaori Adachi (pseudonym), who works in a Tokyo real-estate agency. For the last six months she has been wearing diapers to work almost every day, instead of using sanitary tissues after using the restroom. And she doesn’t mean panty liners to prevent leakage, but actual diapers that absorb all the urine, and save her the trouble of going to the bathroom.
I knew Japanese were workaholics but this is taking it a bit too far. Adachi says she can now pee normally while she’s working, without having to stop and go to the restroom. She does point out that she only wears them when she’s dressed in a skirt, because pants make it obvious there’s something not quite right down there, and she never wears them when she’s meeting her boyfriend.
Guys are not necessarily from another planet as that famous book claims, but they are a different breed.
Notice I didn't say BAD breed, but their minds work a bit differently than women's, which means that sometimes we ladies don't quite get what's really going on in our guys' heads.
Is he blowing you off or is his behavior nothing to worry about? And if he is giving you the cold shoulder, what do you do about it?
1) Every time you call, his phone rings once, then goes to voicemail. Doesn't matter if it's during the workday or when you're supposed to be calling -- rather than hearing his voice, you hear the same greeting. What do you do? Stop calling him. There's no point.
2) He's always talking about other girls to you. Maybe it's the cutie across the room or the waitress or his co-worker. Doesn't matter WHO it is, it matters that he's making it very clear he's not digging you. Time to move on.
3) He can't be pinned down to making actual plans. He's always "getting back to you" or "has to check his schedule." Being busy, it happens. We all get that. The question is, does he get back to you to confirm plans? If not, ditch the guy. Not worth it.
4) He takes at least a day to return your calls. If a guy likes you, he'll call you back EVEN IF it's to say he's not able to talk right now so can he call you later? It's clear he's not into you like that, so drop him.
5) He never has time to hang out. Now, if a guy likes you, he'll make the time - he'll move heaven and Earth to hang. If he doesn't? He's not into you. Kick him to the curb.
6) He hates relationships and never fails to point this out to you. This is an easy one. He doesn't want a relationship with you - no matter how many mixed signals he's giving off. Ditch the idea of dating him.
7) He blows you off for a date, then pops up on social media that same night "checking in" at various places and posting pictures of himself with other people. Double whammy! Ditch the dude.
8) You genuinely don't know where you stand with him. Clarity is important in a relationship - any relationship - and knowing where you stand in regards to another person is vital. If you can't figure out how he feels or whether he's digging you, it's time to ask for clarity, and be prepared to find out the truth - good or bad.

My company just celebrated our 100th anniversary! Our Executives just threw a big celebration! We were allowed to bring a guest so of course I brought my boyfriend. Never did I think he’d get out of control, he’s a quiet guy!
