I moved here two years ago for my husband's career. I was a successful attorney in Ohio and turned down a huge job offer to start over - at the start of the worst recession to ever hit the legal industry. Know what I did? I got a $9/hr part timeretail job, studied for the bar exam and planned a wedding all the while I was networking like crazy. After two years, I finally got a foot in the door and I am not at all sorry for taking that retail job. It was a way to show that I have a work ethic.
