I had a feeling my boyfriend was gonna ask me to move in with him, and sure enough he did a couple of weeks ago. His parents got divorced when he was in high school, so I think he wants to live together before he proposes, because he’s scared, but he’ll never admit that! The thing is I’m not sure if I’m ready to live with him. Don’t get me wrong, I love him, but moving in together is a huge step. We’ve only been together for about a year, and I kinda thought I’d get engaged before moving in. I’m afraid to tell him cuz I don’t want to scare him even more. I also don’t wanna hurt his feelings. I went for a walk to clear my head and I saw a “FOR RENT” sign on one of the houses down the street with an upstairs apartment, and I thought “wow” wouldn’t that be great?! If he moves right down the street from me I’d see him all the time BUT we could still have our own places. I think it’d be a great transition.
