My parents have a big party on Christmas Eve every year. We’ve invited all of our neighbors, friends and family. I started dating my boyfriend in the beginning of the summer so this will be his first year at the party. We also invited his parents to be nice. To break the ice between the two families we all went out to dinner last weekend. All was going well until his Dad started yelling at the waitress for messing up his order. My Dad told him to calm down and they starting arguing! It was awful, I was so embarrassed! But, they ended up shaking hands at the end of the night, but I knew my Dad wasn’t happy. A few days later my Dad told me there was NO WAY he was coming to the Christmas Eve Party, and to uninvite him!! REALLY?? We sent out the invitations like a month ago and his parents already said they were coming, I can’t just un-invite them! But, I also can’t ignore my dad’s wishes…it’s his house!
