The Capital K9 Association is a non-profit group established in 2011 to provide assistance to struggling K9 Units throughout the state of New Jersey. The Capital K9 Association was initially established to provide bullet proof vests to the Trenton Police K9 Unit. While doing so, we noticed there were many K9 Units struggling to provide life-saving equipment to the K9’s who protect our streets every day. These working K9’s risk their lives on a daily basis protecting their communities and ensuring their handlers make it home safely at the end of their shift. The members of the Capital K9 Association want to make sure the dogs make it home too.
Ourgoalfor the upcoming fundraiser is to purchase five to ten bullet proof vests for local police K9 units, including Ewing Township Police Department, New Jersey Transit Police, Bordentown Township Police Department, and Marlboro Township Police Department. The Capital K9 Association and our supporters strive to provide the safest possible working environment for the police k9s who protect our communities!
